A Day with Mom!

My mom and I were able to spend the day with each other!

We decided to go downtown Holland and go shopping!

We had a great time!

We both got a few things...and had a great lunch at the Irish Pub!

We even maybe stopped at the Peanut Store...twice! :)

After shopping and lunch, we went to the beach and walked the pier!

It was a great day...and I should've taken more pictures!

Paddleboarding

While we were up in Michigan...we had the opportunity to try paddleboarding!

It was a lot of fun! And a good workout too!

Rosy Mound!

We had an excellent trip up north this summer!

Time went too fast, and we had a wonderful time catching up

with our friends and families!

One of our stops we must make is to Rosy Mound!

2 Year Anniversary

On June 30th, we celebrated our 2 year wedding anniversary!

We treated ourselves to a wonderful seafood dinner on

Galveston Island at The Fisherman's Warf!

It was great! Even sitting outside wasn't too hot!

What a wonderful 2 years it has been!

Fire up Tiges!!

In June, Ben and I found out the Tigers were in town!

So on a beautiful Sunday afternoon, we went to go cheer them on!

It was a great game! Tigers won in the 9th!

It was weird cheering for the "away team" but we

are loyal, and we did it anyways despite the glares from the Astro fans!

After the game...we walked around near the stadium!

They had a "Dock Dog" competition! It was so cool to watch!

It was kind of like long jumping for dogs...but in the water!

A random, but fun find that afternoon!

So....it's been awhile

Sorry it's been awhile since the last post!

We've been busy doing many things!

I will not be updating the most recent things....but just to get caught up

...so...

some of this is old news...just not posted!

One coolish Texas evening we decided it was a nice night for a drink outside!

Only problem was that we didn't have anywhere to sit!

So we took a sporatic trip to buy some outdoor seating!

Ben seems to be thoroughly enjoying it!

While we were putting together the furniture...we smelled some "fireworks"

Found our tiki torch in flames...starting to scortch the garage!

Good thing we found it in time!

New Orleans!

A couple of weekends ago we spent a long weekend in New Orleans!

My Uncle Tim lives just outside of New Orleans and he showed us a good time there!

We had a great time! We did all the things you're supposed to do in New Orleans...except for the naughty things! ;) What a great time!
