Painting & Bowling

Ben & Nate painted our "formal dining" room...aka "game room"!

It looks great! Thanks for the hard work guys! and for your patience to paint on all 5 coats!

Since we've been back from MI, Nate, Brooke and Ben & I went to a place called Main Event!

It's a huge building that has just about every activity you can think of! From bowling to billiard, to laser tag, to putt-putt golf! It's like a grown-up Chuck E Cheese!

Tropical Storm Edouard

Well, I know this is a bit late, but here are some pictures of me and my coworkers

sleeping overnight for Tropical Storm Edouard.

For those of you who do not live in TX, the hospitals go on lock down,

and you have to choose to either "ride-out" the storm or "recover" the storm!

So this is what it looked like when my awesome co-workers and I each get handed

and army cot and get locked in the hospital until they say we can leave.

Good things about staying locked in the hospital

• Getting paid to sleep
• Hanging out with great people
• Free food
  

Bad things about locked in the hospital

• Having to leave Ben during a storm
• Uncomfortable army cots
• Bad free food

Edouard turned out to be nothing! So we all felt like it was a waste of time...but we are all thinking we might be trapped again this early next week for Gustavo!

In Honor of the "Stuck's Cottage" weekend

So this is what stinks about living far away... we get to miss out on annual events,

such as Stuck's Cottage...which is presently happening!

We wish we were there...but found some great

pictures to remember our time there 2 years ago!

Tennesee Bubbles!

Tennessee!!

Well, we've been back for almost a month now!

And here I am just getting to posting the Tennessee pics!

We were able to spend a week in north eastern Tennessee with Ben's

family! It was a nice, relaxing time!

We had great meals, wonderful hikes, and great

family time! It only happends twice a year... but it's always great!

My mom and I were able to go see Mama Mia and get pedicures!

We had a great time!

And I thought the movie was so good!

We saw Mama Mia on Broadway in NYC Times Square when

I lived there! Great show, good movie, always wonderful company!
