Happy Birthday Ben!

October 27, 2007 !!
This date marked the 28th year of life for my man!
It was also the first day Ben & I have had off together in 6 weeks!
We had a fun day just hanging out with each other! We went went out for a good lunch,
then out gear shopping, then bike shopping!
Cream of Chocolate pie was the birthday boy's choice of dessert!
Open your eyes!!
We celebrated with Chinese dinner with Nate & Brooke, then back to our apt
for birthday dessert and presents! He got some great t-shirts!
Happy birthday! I love you!

Night out!!

Ben and I went downtown Houston Friday night to go to a Martin Sexton concert.
It was a lot of fun. None of you have probably heard of him, but he's
kind of a folky, rocky, guitar playing guy.

Ari Hest opened the night. He was pretty good!
If you want to hear him check out his website...

We were pretty close! We were the first in line too!

We got there early to go out for dinner....as we drove by the parking lot, we saw Martin and his manager standing outside their bus! We decided to be cheesy fans and got a pic with him before the show!

Fun at work!

Working as a traveling nurse, you get the opportunity to meet a lot of wonderful people!
At this current assignment in Houston, there are a lot of travelers that I am working with!
We all get along so well, probably because we're all in the same boat!
These are just a few others that I have met!
What stinks about it is that we all get to know each other, work with each other
for 3 months, then we all go seperate ways!
I don't think that I could've survived this job if it weren't for these ladies! They are great!
Sharika, Wakita, Shirley, and Me!
Having a pretty good day at work, enough time to take some pics!
More fun!

9.30.2007

Ben's parents celebrated their 4oth wedding anniversary!
The Mathew children treated them to an afternoon at the Houston Symphony!

40th Anniversary Continued!

After being entertained at the Houston Symphony, we made reservations
at a restaurant downtown Houston that had an indoor aquarium which surrounded
the dining area! We dropped the lovebirds off there and
picked them up when they were finished!

Side note: it was our 3 month anniversary!
