Amongst all of the crazyness of the last 2 weeks, there have been some updates that we have neglected to post on our blog, and they are worth celebrating! During our 8 hours in Texas- Ben managed to fit in an interview for an elementary school. After receiving two job offers, Ben accepted his first elementary teaching position! He will be teaching 4th grade Science and Social Studies (aka Texas history) at Laura Ingalls Wilder Elementary School in Pearland, Texas. Pearland, TX is just south of Houston! This is a brand new elementary school in a fast growing area. We are very excited! First day of school is August 27th! Way to go Mr. Mathew! I am so proud of you!

Congrats MR. Mathew!! My boys are going to be in the 4th grade next year...maybe they can come down to texas and live with you guys? Just a thought....HeeHee!! But seriously...that is awesome!!
All packed and ready to go? What are your plans for early in the week? Really want to see you...but totally understand if you are crazy busy...just let me know!! Love Ya!!
Watch out... they eat up new teachers and spit them out. But I hear that when they call you "Mr. Mathew" you grow a super shield around you that is inpenatrable against 4th graders teeth. Just give 'em more homework! :-) Tee Hee... see you in a few days.
