Well Crap!
Alright, I suppose that title is a bit depressing but we had a bit of a downer this weekend. On friday Emily and I were planning (as we've been doing since a little before Christmas) to close on our first house. We found out late in the day Wednesday that the previous owner had been a bit behind on his finances and we would be unable to get the house. We had to extend our closing until this Monday. Our sources tell us that there is a slim chance that we'll get the house now. So we've got two weeks to figure out what we're going to do since we pushed it until our apartment lease was up. It's all in a bigger plan than we can even fathom and we've been praying for God to help us understand all the things that would go into this event of buying a house. I guess He just decided to teach us about the other side of the ball than the side we had thought of....We will survive, we just had to take a step back for a bit :)

Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. We really appreciate it. It has been a frustrating week. We are learning and trying to be patient and trust that God will put us where He wants us. Thank you... our family means the world to us!... and merr... whoever that is! ;)
I'm hearin ya... we're in about the same place as you are in the "Crap" part of life. I'll email shortly and fill you in as you'd like. All are well - just not in spirit today - the upswing is that there is freshly fallen snow... did I say "upswing?" What a joke! OK - anyway - we're praying along with you too! love you guys
